巴斯夫PA66 Ultramid注塑工艺
模具温度
非增强型Ultramid 通常在40-60℃的模具温度下加工。增强型Ultramid 产品需要较高的温度。若要获得良好的表面质量,且注塑件符合硬度和强度的高要求,模具温度应控制在80-90℃,在一些特殊情况下,控制在120-140℃(见表1)。良好的温度控制系统以及正确的模具温度,是高品质注塑件的必要条件。模具表面温度会影响结晶化程度、表面质量、收缩率、翘曲、尺寸公差和内应力水平。
料筒温度
当熔体在料筒中有较长滞留时间时,通过设置料筒加热带的温度,使其从装料斗升至喷嘴,可实现温和融化。在较短滞留时间情况下,也可在料筒上平缓地控制温度。阻隔式螺杆可能需要从装料斗至喷嘴的温度分布。 喷嘴应至少配有一个加热功率为200-300 W的加热带,因为向注塑模具辐射和传导可能导致较高的热损耗,因而存在喷嘴中熔体凝固的风险。建议对加热带的控制进行监测。及早发出警告(如料筒上加热带故障),可避免螺杆破裂。一般可通过料斗区域内的温度控制(约80℃)改善给料行为。 |
料筒中的滞留时间
塑料在塑化料筒中的滞留时间是决定模塑质量的一个重要因素。滞留时间过短可导致熔体的受热不均匀,如果过长(大于10分钟),往往会导致热损伤。这将使冲击强度受到损失,这种损失有时可由注塑件上的变色、黑条纹或产品烧焦颗粒看出。
在一项测试中,通常添加不同颜色的粒料可测定滞留时间。在加工浅色Ultramid 产品时,测试只需几颗黑色粒料。因此,滞留时间就为产品的循环时间和模塑上呈现明显颜色差异之前所需的循环数之积。基于理论上可能的注射量,无法对滞留时间进行评估。如图4所示,滞留时间随着计量量增大而缩短(假定计量容量和注射循环是恒定的);当计量量超过3D时,这种相关性就会减弱。 |
